While they may not offer as much variety in sushi and hot dishes as other all-you-can-eat sushi restaurants, the quality of food and service more than makes up for it. Overall, a fantastic place to dine!
Great lunch spot for sushi. Fast service and high quality sushi.
All You Can Eat for $16?? Hard to find especially during the weekends. The Menu has a very good variety except for sashimi.
Our family decided to have AYCE lunch here on Sun, Feb 26. We have eaten here before so we already know which items we like. We wasted no time marking the lunch menu order form and handing it back to the server. Our first order included miso soup, seafood soup, chicken fried rice, beef fried udon, vegetable tempura, shrimp tempura, scallop tempura, chicken katsu, sesame chicken, chicken teriyaki, pan fried squid, California maki roll and Rock n’ Roll special roll. Half an hour later, we asked for a second helping of chicken katsu, shrimp tempura, scallop tempura, yam tempura and, finally, dessert consisting of green tea ice cream, red bean ice cream, mango pudding and mocha mousse cake. Yes, we had ourselves an Imperial feast. Food was well cooked and served hot (except for maki rolls and dessert, of course). Almost all our orders were served in a timely manner. We only have one no-show, the sesame chicken. I would have reminded the server about it but I was busy eating that I eventually forgot. Our lunch was delicious and satisfying and except for 2 mediocre teppanyaki dishes--pan fried squid and beef fried udon, both with chunky carrot slices--the rest of the meal was superb and worth recommending. Our tummies were so happy when we left an hour later. We were so full we did not bother with an afternoon snack and we only ate a very light supper that night.Weekend AYCE lunch price has increased but still very reasonable at $15.99/adult. Business hours have also changed: Asaka Sushi is now open just 6 days a week. Mon, Wed and Thu 11:30AM-10PM, Fri 11:30AM to 10:30PM, Sat 12PM to 10:30PM, Sun 12PM to 10PM, closed Tue.
This was 4th or 5th time we have eaten there, it has changed hands a few times, and so has the food. This time just the menu changed, but not the name so far. We waited a little while before we were attended to. You order by number, unfortunately because there's no photos to indicate what I was ordering we weren't sure that we got all that we checked off. Everything was delicious. Now you order piece by piece which works out rather expensive. Stated on the menu was "all you can eat for $12,99" but we didn't seem to qualify for that. But I should have verified that.
