The first time we had Ethiopian food in brüssel. hubby and I are both vegans when we found out that the restaurant was a vegan restaurant (toukoul), we had to let it go. the food was delicious! we don't believe it! Fast forward a few years and we found injera house. we wanted to visit one of them, and then happened in 2020! a casual Saturday afternoon, we thought we should? Or should we keep the amazing memories in Belgium and not risk any bad experience! we thought, hey, why not go! we went in, smiling the heart (I think he might have been the owner) at the theke was so warm and welcoming that we were already happy to have come in. I told him how great our robbery was in Europe and how delicious the Ethiopian food is. asked him about what he (vegan) ursache recommend, let us face him we had no warning! he said he'll make us a plate with a few. omg! I can only say! that's a real bullshit! the food was so delicious! so generous portion! the service! the cleanliness! the price! this place is a hidden gem! that was 3 Saturdays. Before I finished work today, I called the hubby! hey! if you want to go to dinner after work injera, he replied he answered you. pulled out of the parking lot, he wants to check if they are open. hallo? him: only check and reluctantly did I! and bam! disappointed! they close at 5 on Tuesday! ... so we drove home! check the opening hours before they go there. this place will be our new regular spots! they need to visit especially when their vegan! finger lick well! super warm and friendly service. thanks injera house! ps: was not able to give this restaurant 5 stars causal happily hold 5 stars status to complete vegan restaurants only.
Different then any other restaurant I tried. large portion sizes and friendly staff. I have the opportunity to combine 6 different dishes on each injera.
I wish I would live closer so I could eat more often here. the staff are friendly and helpful, eating is amazing. total great experience!
I had the Beyaynetu dish. Beautiful Ethiopian pancake with several vegan dishes on top. Great service, very yummy. My dish was around $17. Well worth it. I took a photo after I had eaten half the pancake because I lost my mind from the great aroma.
