Kuan Heng Cafe - Miri

Barely find them compare large fishcakes in sarawak with sabah, but these I would say is the best in sarawak as far as I try. they can accept my comment as I am a frequent flyer for sabah and sarawak!

Super duper friendly taukenio. and I just love the spicy and acidic fishcake noodles! I love how the aromen melt together with the springy noodles! I'll normally try to come here at least once, I should be in miri. they also have not seasoned versions when they are in spicy food (not that it is that spicy) that are also delicious. but personally I find the acidic and spicy version more appetit.

Beautiful and selection of noodles, fishball soup and laksa. can be busy quickly, so recommend to sit early in front of the office lunch set in

Loves the miri laksa. but they're coming early. the fish cake was sold out shortly before 10 o'clock on a weekday.

Food delicious! The homemade fish cake mee is good. Mee pok with soy sauce and chilli sauce is even tastier! I enjoyed their homemade chilli. If you want laksa, it’s usual ready around 7+ am. At least, that’s what I was told on that day when I wanted to have laksa but I was too early. Staff the waiter ordering beverage is really efficient and the order came quickly. The ladies working at the Mee stall aren’t as friendly but that’s alright. Parking if you’re an early bird (before office hours 8am) there are plenty of free parking around. However, parking tickets are needed during office hours and it may be quite tricky to get parking around this area. Cleanliness good This place is usually packed with people and there aren’t many seats available so you might want to be early !
