Small hidden gem, to go earlier and straighten an icy coffee when I work every night, big coffee, well paid lunch, great place for two.

The atmosphere is wonderful, but the food itself is not very impressive. It's decent and edible, but not memorable enough to leave a lasting impression.

The place looks fantastic. I was a bit let down by the dry cakes and muffins, but overall it's worth a visit. I'll definitely be returning.

The atmosphere is excellent, but the hearty meals are lacking. I've had many lunches here, and unfortunately, the cakes are the most consistently good aspect. It feels like the place has a lot of potential and is somewhere you'd want to dine, but it's probably better to just stick to coffee and desserts.

High prices, rather bland. The creamy mashed potato on toast with leeks and bacon sounded tantalising, but oh so bland. The worst was that the 'bacon ' was that cheap and nasty diced 'manufactured meat ' that you get by the scoopful at Safeway. So disappointing for the price and for a place that appears to be presenting a 'posh ' style. Sandwiches were reportedly nice although $8.50 piece mud cake was dry. Disappointing that so little was made in-house, even the pies so praised in another review were driven down from Melbourne. A pity.
