Located on a peaceful village, we found a pleasant family managing a renovated building, once a cereal grinding, now a delightful restaurant, where you can taste the local dishes and be presented with great tips to help you finding lovely spots in the surroundings!
Recommended by the owners of the place we were staying and deserving of the praise. Good quality ingredients served simply superb postas steak. Lovely fresh salad too. Chocolate mousse highly recommended by the family expert!
At Taberna A Moagem you will enjoy perfectly cooked, top quality ingredients. I enjoyed a wonderful thick steak with vegetables straight from the garden followed by homegrown raspberries and white cherries. Excellent!
We were attracted by the the good recommendations and indeed same were right. In this non turistic season we were very welcome and had a fantastic dinner. We loved the starter (a kind of local sausage) but what to say about the posta: simply fantastic. The servicing lady was very friendly and attentive. Nice environment: a restyled old grain Mill. We will return tomorrow to taste the fish but trust this will be fine again. Don't hesitate when you are in the neighbourhood: just go there! Ferdi and Ann from Belgium.
