Great Wok Restaurant - Miramichi

Had a nice lunch with my sister and cousin. ... clean and good food before I headed back to Moncton. I was a sunny but cook day in the Miramichi. ... but nothing like being up home.

Great food, and they do a buffet several times a week. Even though it is busy the buffet is constantly filled. But don't order the fish and chips, very small pieces.

Had items off the menu, fried rice which was fine, almond soo guy which had good batter but tasteless gravy, and Szechuan shrimp which was very bland, runny and had no heat, and only 6 shrimp in the dish for $16. We didn't eat the...More

Only come here when its Buffet and its always a treat. Not much room so better to go at 11:30 or after 1 to avoid the noon rush. My kids age 7 and 10 love it. Waitresses always welcome u with a smile and often comes to ask if everything is fine and to refill the water. The food is always hot and refilled as soon as it goes down. Not have many choices(10) and would be nice if ribs were added to the buffet. Unfortunately there is no dessert either. Would definitely recommend and its the least expensive for chinese buffet.

We have been to the Great Wok many times. My only "beef' so to speak is buffet times. It is way too crowded down there & there always seems to be so many shoving & stepping on others. It's just plain rude. We love the buffet but it is not worth the hassle! The poor waitresses are running here there & everywhere it's just too much. There is not enough room I feel. The food is so good!! We have been going there for years and staff is very polite & efficient! I would definitely recommend the restaurant, just not at buffet times. Restaurant and washrooms are always very clean.
