Seagar's Restaurant - MIRAMAR BEACH

This was our first time and we invited our brother and sister-in-law that are used to quality fine dining. He was impressed with the extensive wine list. Our service Scott and Benton were outstanding. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was elegant. I needed to impress while showing our appreciation and we did thanks to Seagars!! You made me look good!! My sister-in-law said this was the finest restaurant in this area. We’ve been to a lot!! We will be coming back when we come down this winter. Thank you.

I was so looking forward to dinning here after reading the reviews. It must have been an off night because the food was subpar at best. Started with the lobster appetizer, it was good. For the entries my wife ordered the diver scallops, the were raw in the middle. No flavor, with very little sear on the scallops. I ordered the ribeye medium rare with Alaskan king crab ontop. The king crab had a strong fishy taste and so did the pieces of stake i tried. Told the server and he took plate back to the kitchen. He came back and explained the chief said it could be the brine that caused the fishy taste. When is king crab or and crab meat soaked in brine? So the stake was rare, not medium rare. I can eat rare but the stake was tough and no flavor. So a total disappointment with the food. The best part of the evening were the 3 servers that took care of us. Outstanding to Scott and team. For a place that is known for their steaks, this Monday night was a failure. For $250 meal and $50 dollar tip one should expect perfection at that price.

Great experience. Our team took excellent care of us, explained the menu and made us feel right at home. Looking forward to our next ride over from Panama City!

Super cool classic steakhouse vibe! Very intimate bare area and someone playing the piano. Food was fantastic.
