Hawthorne's New York Pizza And Mint Hill

We come often for Kids Eat Free on Tuesdays. Crystal is so helpful and kind. We enjoy our dinners.

I have always loved Hawthornes choose to dine here whether for work or personal meals. I hadn’t been in a few weeks ordered take out tonight. 1 large pizza, Cesar salad, and wings. All were unfortunately inedible. I would’ve returned the food, but I live 45 minutes away and due to never having a bad experience before, I didn’t think to try the food before leaving after picking up. We truly believe whomever made the pizza simply forgot the sauce all together. There was no sauce on the pizza… At all, the wings were sparsely sauced, and the lettuce was bitter and wilted. My family and I agreed after 1 bite that this was so disappointing and unlike one of our favorite places. Sadly, I don’t think we’ll be returning despite the kind service. The restaurant also had a very unpleasant smell. The quality care of the food has drastically decreased it seems.

Hawthorne's has been around the Charlotte area for many years. This Mint Hill location has as well, but it needs some updating inside. Food was good and service was excellent.

Brieanna T is absolutely amazing! She's one of our favorite waitresses at Hawthornes. She's very polite, attentive, with amazing customer service skills! Hawthornes MH is very lucky to have her.
