Grandma Links - Minong

**Cons:** 1. If you happen to be seated in the back room by the gift shop, you might as well bring your own drinks because you won’t see any service there. 2. We visited on a Friday for the all-you-can-eat fish fry and waited over an hour for our food, only to find that they had run out of fish by the time I wanted my second plate. 3. Meanwhile, all the tables that arrived after us were being served well before we got our meals. Our waitress seemed to be missing in action all night (it really shouldn't take more than 5 minutes for food, or I want my check for the beers). She never checked on us. 4. The tables around us, who didn’t wait nearly as long, were offered $5 off their bills for the wait. Not us, though—our waitress was nowhere to be found. Honestly, it’s not about the $5; it’s the fact that we were never even acknowledged or apologized to for the delay, nor were we informed that our food would take an additional 20 minutes. **Pro:** 1. The food was decent, but definitely not worth the long wait!

This is the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. We seated ourselves, which was fine, and ordered drinks. However, we had to ask another waitress to take our order, and after that, no one came to check on us. We waited over 30 minutes for just eggs and toast but never received our food. Eventually, we left without eating. The cook came out of the kitchen three times, yet our table was still empty.

Unfortunately, this restaurant has closed because the owner also operates the A&W next door. A notice was sent out stating that the A&W was performing so well that they chose to shut down Grandma Links. However, A&W doesn’t offer alcohol, a pleasant atmosphere, or a salad bar! Plus, you can’t catch Packer games at A&W. We will greatly miss Grandma Links and, as much as I used to enjoy some of their food, I won't be returning to A&W.

My family visited this restaurant while my husband was on a work trip, and we had the four-piece fried chicken dinner. It was fantastic! The potatoes were cold, but everything else was served piping hot. The kids enjoyed the chicken tenders, which were just as delicious. We would definitely return! The staff were all wonderful—great job, everyone!
