Uncle Franky's - Minneapolis

I haven't been here since before covid and the Italian beef combo was still good. I don't believe it tastes as good as I remember but it's better than many that I have had being I'm from Chicago and Chicago's Italian beef combos Rock. So I would give it a seven if I had to rate it.

Customer service was worse that the food.Our order was terrible.Everything was burnt to the point we threw it away.Burger chicken were beyond dry and not even edible.Fries rings taste like old grease.Nothing was seasoned at all.Malts were melted. We had to ask for them or they would have been forgotten just like our ranch.I called 2x and got no answer. Voicemail was full.I also emailed them and got no response.

I have been looking for 6 years for a place to make the Coney dog my old boss used to make... This place beat it hands down, best ever! Definitely my new favorite spot

I used to live in Chicagoland and this place has a legitimate Chicago dog. The staff is great, the prices are good, the food scratches the itch when I need a good hot dog. The polish is good too.

The dogs themselves are really good, but had too much to taste to really taste the dogs. if we go back, I'd get the double dog or bigger dog because I'd like to pluck. fries were good, only slightly overpriced. we sat outside, which was a nice choice. our cook kissed someone in the back, while orders we expect wait. So we had to wait longer than we should have for two dogs, and all those who were stacked up were pommes.
