The food was fantastic! The service was perfect. The prices were reasonable. The decor is entertaining. I love this restaurant!!

It has great food and would highly recommend to friends.

We’ve been visiting the Newsroom for years when we go to shows at the Orpheum. Unfortunately, we were disappointed this time around. Our app was cold and the waitress didn’t bring plates so it was tough to eat asparagus. Our actual meals were not great. The avocado was spoiled, chicken overcooked and fries were cold. I was not impressed with the food considering the price we paid. We also had to flag our waitress down several times, including to get our tab. We may need to find an alternative restaurant next time.

Cocktails were bad/mediocre at best It was a slow night and we waited forever for our food, which we never ended up getting because it took too long and we had to leave. We watched a table next to us get appetizers, entrees, and desserts before our waiter asked if we got our food yet. We were there for an hour and a half and all we managed to eat were some Brie curds. Really no excuse for how poor the communication was between the wait staff and the kitchen. I’m surprised they made us pay for our drinks, it was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. I don’t foresee this place sticking around much longer. If this is how they continually conduct business, I would recommend going literally anywhere else.

The food was excellent. I had chicken and waffles for the first time and was amazed how good it was. Also had one of the best old fashions I’ve ever drunk.
