The Butcher’s Tale - Minneapolis

My husband faced a tough choice between the long rib and Wagyu. The picture of the Wagyu on the online menu looked enticing, and our waiter highly recommended it. However, when it arrived, it was about the size of my hand. I’m a petite 5-foot woman, so that gives you an idea of how small my hands are. My husband was really disappointed with both the size and the flavor, especially considering it was priced at $120 for the Wagyu. I'm not sure if our waiter was inexperienced or simply trying to upsell him, but it was a letdown, especially since we’ve found that similar cuts at other restaurants tend to have better flavor for a lower price. If we return, my husband will definitely opt for something different.

The food and service were exceptional, and even though the restaurant was quite busy, we were able to have a pleasant conversation without any difficulty.

The food was absolutely amazing! We celebrated my daughter's 30th birthday here, and I ordered the scallop dish, which was the best I've ever had! Everyone enjoyed their meals as well. The pork chop was excellent, the flank steak was excellent, and the sea bass was excellent too… It's on the pricey side, but it's a fantastic place for special occasions!

Took our close friends for new year eve. Absolutely amazing. Their cuts are delicious.
