Taqueria Mi Guanajuato - Minneapolis

The food was tasty, but the carnitas had more fat than meat, which was not ideal. However, the overall taste was good. Food rating: 3 out of 5.

I visited this restaurant for lunch on a Tuesday. After looking at the menu, I took a seat. The staff seemed to ignore me as they continued to serve other customers without acknowledging my presence. After waiting for 10 minutes with no attention from anyone, I decided to leave. I am not sure what the issue was, but I will not be returning. As a fan of tacos and someone who speaks Spanish, I was disappointed by the lack of service. I believe that if a restaurant is not willing to serve customers, they should not be open for business.

I ordered the pastor quesadilla at this restaurant, but the meat was extremely greasy. I returned it and pointed out that it appeared to be chorizo instead. The staff tried to explain the difference, but it still looked the same to me. I ended up returning the dish and leaving the restaurant.

Fantastic place. We love the chips and guacamole, and they have a legit torta with all the fixins. I’ve had the tacos, quesadilla, and burrito from here and they all have been great. We usually get take out, they’re doing some great renovations inside and I’m excited to see it when it’s completed.

Delicious Mexican food made to order! Wide variety of items on the menu, reasonable prices, quick friendly service, and nice atmosphere. I had the sopes and a horchata to drink. Both were wonderful. Lots of space to dine in, even with a large group. Or easy to get take out quickly too. Wide variety of beverages and even some desserts too. Be sure to check this place out!
