Taqueria Los Ocampo - Minneapolis

I've had a frustrating experience with this restaurant's pickup service. Each time I've ordered for pickup, my items have never been ready on time. Today, I arrived a bit early to ensure my order would be ready at the designated pickup time mentioned in the email. The cashier asked me to wait until that time. However, when I checked back at the pickup time, my order was still not prepared. I even tracked my order online, which incorrectly indicated that it was ready. Now, I've been waiting for 30 minutes past the scheduled pickup time, and my order is still not ready. I prefer ordering from restaurants for pickup to save time, but the tacos here are merely okay. If you're considering picking up your order from this place, I recommend looking elsewhere.

We ordered the Gorditas and a tostada, and the food was excellent! The only thing preventing me from giving it a full five stars was the long wait time of 25-30 minutes for our to-go order. Otherwise, I highly recommend this place because the food tastes anything but cheap—it’s truly authentic!

I ordered a shrimp quesadilla, but it had more cheese than shrimp. The dish was gooey and the texture was gummy. When I asked if they could remake it or give me a refund, they refused. My wife ordered shrimp fajitas, but her meal had no flavor either. We ended up leaving, wasting $40 on fresh food that we didn't even eat. We won't be coming back; this is honestly the worst restaurant in town.

Nice location to meet up with a friend and get high quality food. The restaurant is in the bottom floor of a new apartment, so everything is bright, clean, and spacious. Nobody else was there when we arrived at 1 pm on a Wednesday, but that was no causefor worry. The food was good, they have daily specials, and lots of vegetarian options. I would definitely come back.

Food is delicious and the service was Great. Very nice staff.
