Tailgate Sports Cafe - Minneapolis

First off, the customer service was great. The wait staff was friendly, fast, and hardworking. But the Juicy Lucy I ordered was probably the worst burger I’ve had in a long time. Everyone else’s food was good, so maybe it was an off night. But wow, I can’t get over how bad that burger was. It had no flavor and the cheese was rubbery. One caveat, the fries were great and the beer was nice and cold. It’s a decent neighborhood sports bar nothing special, but fun with friends.

Really like this bar even though they don't always have 2 for 1 everyday of the week like old times but only on certain days of the week.

Food is great and service is good too. Sometimes at peak hours it's busy so plan accordingly.

I'll lead off by expressing how fantastic the staff was, with one of the best bartenders I've ever interacted with. Stopped in on a Tuesday night with my wife to hang out for a drink or two while waiting to pick up someone from the airport, and somehow we stumbled into karaoke Nirvana; seriously, every person had absolute PIPES to the point we asked the bartender if there was some kind of prize pool. I digress, extremely fun spot. The drinks were fairly priced, the food looked great (we'll go back for food when we have more time), the staff was extremely nice, and I'm a sucker for a good, classic sports bar which is exactly what it felt like.
