Rudolphs -b-que - Minneapolis

Davie the server and the happy birthday singer were superb . Liked the way Davie handled the secrecy to my son who thought he was taking me out and for mother’s day brunch and got a surprise himself. Davie was very professional, great customer service skills and most of all the food was great!!!! Will be back Rudolph!!!!

We went to Rudolph's for their Mother's Day brunch. We had reserved a high top table at the bar, but they gave us a table in the back room instead because our table was not available. We have dined here before and found the baby back ribs to be disappointing. Unfortunately, this time was no different. The brunch menu has been reduced and dessert only consisted of chocolate cake, whereas in the past they had a variety of options like pies, cheesecake, and brownies. We gave the baby back ribs another try, but once again they were tough and lacked meat despite being advertised as tender. We do not plan on returning to Rudolph's in the near future. The quality of their food has deteriorated, and the manager did not seem concerned when we informed him about our experience with the ribs. He insisted they were fine and even sent us home with more to try, which were also tough. We do not appreciate being treated in such a manner by the manager.

It was too noisy for me and too crowded and the selection of food was not as it has been in years past. I probably won’t do another Moms day brunch here again.

Good food, good service. And it's a Minnesota tradition. Prince used to hang out there, and other celebs went after their shows. The owner is 85 years old and still there to keep things running and say hello.

Shared dinner with my daughter on a rare quiet (for us) Sat. night. I ordered a full slab of baby back ribs with a side of cole slaw and the garlic mashed potatoes. Cole slaw and potatoes (couldn't taste any garlic) were very good. ribs had NO smoke flavor at all!!! I was expecting that they would have been smoked and not just roasted in the oven. My adult daughter shared her order of riblets with me. They had a nice smoked flavor and were moist and delicious. We also shared a wedge salad with bacon and cherry tomatoes, that was served with a sides of delicious French dressing and blue cheese. Plenty for 2 to share. I would definitely have the rib- lets next time!!!
