The guy working the host stand, and the person who seated us both hate their jobs, and so it was a rough start. We were seated, and thankfully our server did not hate her job, or if she did, she did like most folks and didn't take it out on us. She was friendly, and present at all the times we needed her. Food arrived within a reasonable time from ordering. My chimichanga was very meh. My daughter ate only one piece of her quesadilla, and the wife and the other kid ate less than half their food. I thought the sweet rice was good, no one else did. The chips and salsa were good. The food wasn't bad, it just wasn't special. Folks went back to the chips and salsa eventually. My margarita tased weird, like there was still soap in my glass when it was poured in there, but the mom being celebrated liked hers. All in all it was a meh. The place is a 20+ minute drive from our house, so its unlikely we'd be back anyway.
Sat outside on a beautiful day. Lovely server. Food was great! Wind was an issue and umbrellas were not safe to be using so were taken down. Unfortunately a lawn service company on the nearby property decided Mother's Day at noon would be a great time to have their staff mowing and using leaf blowers...that was disappointing, but out of the control of Rojo. We had a great time and would not hesitate to go there again! Free mimosas to all of the moms as well!
We had an event here recently. Staff is awesome, food was great and the venue is very nice
Service was a bit slow especially when it came time to pay for the check. We waited almost twenty minutes after asking for a box before I decided to make this review. The table next to us is tapping their credit card on the table waiting to pay. Server may be new because she wasn’t familiar with the Margarita and menu items we ordered. When my daughter asked for a Coke we were told they have Pepsi products. My daughter then asked for a Mexican Coke which was later delivered to our table. Shrimp tacos were good. Sweet rice delicious. Tortilla soup tasty but I was hoping for broth based. It’s cream based. There was lint or hair in our chips. At first we thought it was in the guacamole but later discovered it in the chips. Fairly decent experience. We’ll give this place another chance.Parking: We parked across the street by the grocery store so we could see our car but there are parking ramps also available.
The chips and Salas were hot, fresh and delicious. One of us had the fried avocado tacos special) and the other the chicken taco salad not like the standard bowl salad). It was deconstructed with some of the freshest lettuce, pico etc. Dressing was perfect, very light and bright and the exact amount of creme
