After trying a few bites and finding it unsatisfactory, I approached the waiter who kindly offered to exchange it for a dish that I preferred. The Vietnamese rice noodles at this establishment are delicious, and I wholeheartedly recommend dining here.
I would give this restaurant ten stars. The rib eye pho and egg fu young were the best I have ever had in the United States. The meat was incredibly tender and the gravy was amazing. The service was super friendly and fast.
My family and I, including four kids and two adults, visited this restaurant and were seated promptly. We ordered chicken wings and egg rolls as appetizers, which arrived quickly and were delicious. Our main dishes included two types of pho, a combo fried rice, and a rice noodle salad, all of which impressed us with their amazing flavors. We were both amazed by the complexity of the dishes and agreed it was one of the best meals we've ever had, even though we own a restaurant ourselves. Despite living an hour away, we plan to make the drive to visit again soon. We appreciate the staff for accommodating our energetic kids and for their attentive, courteous, and fun service. We are looking forward to our next visit!
This is a fantastic small restaurant with excellent food and service! The portions were generous and everything was delicious. We also bought some macarons from their bakery after our meal and they were incredible!
I believe Que Viet is more suited for those who are new to Southeast Asian cuisine. We ordered the Tai Pho egg rolls, which were quite different from what I expected. They were essentially a meatloaf wrapped in rice paper and fried, but for $10 we only received two, which I felt was not worth the price. The Pho, priced at $15.50 per bowl and containing sliced beef and meatballs, was on the higher end for Southeast Asian restaurants. Unfortunately, the broth was bland and lacked the expected fragrance and flavor. There were inconsistencies with the bowls, as some only had one or two meatballs (which cost an extra $2.50 to add). The service was fast and the atmosphere was modern with music and artwork. I would recommend Que Viet to newcomers to Southeast Asian cuisine, but those seeking deep, savory flavors may want to look elsewhere.
