Mesob Ethiopian - Minneapolis

We love eating here absolutely. it is an oasis for vegetarians. the veggie samplers are a must try. as a southern Indian I feel that injera is the closest thing that a foreign food can get to our stack dosai. it is amazing that some of the Veggie sites with injera also resembles what we back to home in india are the green or the carb or the lenses. comfortable and healthy eating. also her coffee is one of the best I had brewed in mn strong and fresh. the service is friendly.

Come for dinner, not for the service. After we were able to enjoy their delicious food as take-out, we were looking forward to eating. eating was great, but the service was friendly, but slow, unprepared and frustrating. our party of six had reservations as recommended, but there was no table set up when we arrived in almost empty restaurant. the waiter has first joined two round tables, an unpleasant device under each around but really bad for a common plate and for talks. we finally settled on two rectangular tables, with two rows of three facing each other, better, but still laborious. there were no beer or wine list, and the waiter could not call or describe the Ethiopian brands that were available. once ordered, our drinks took a long time to be served. we believe that someone has run the street into the likör to get chardonnay for a person in our party, as we said no wein was available. no second round drinks were offered. our food was ordered in two rounds, as suggested by the waiter, after we expressed some indecision, but this has slowed our meal with a long waiting period in the middle between the orders. dessert was never offered, no boxes for rest offered, and no register card was provided on the table. we finally gave up and paid at the switch. highly recommended for taking or parties who already know what to expect.

Eating was great and the service was even bigger! good authentic mood

The building looks odd but it's very nice inside. The food was fresh, great service and reasonable prices.
