Maria's Cafe - Minneapolis

I didn't know what to expect coming here for breakfast but all the reviews were so good that I definitely was excited.

This place is tucked away in a shopping center so it can be confusing to get into the restaurant.

Had to knock it down 1 star The food is still great, service is the same. So why the knock? Los Gringos Latinos.

Four of us from my family visited shortly after lunch on Sunday. The greeting checked our vaccination check and led us to a table for four near the high exterior windows. The dining area was spacious and we were not close to other diners. Our server Abigail immediately served us. We had hot chocolate for drinks and ordered the Sunday special and a few of the Colombian breakfast combinations. Our eggs were prepared for our individual orders. The orders came up quickly. The food was EXCELLENT. We'll be back. There was a guitarist who played live music as we gedimt and we enjoyed it very much. Very recommended.

What a hidden jewel! Service was so fast, friendly and accommodating. We sat outside in their front terrace and it began to get a very warm part way through our meal. Our server asked if we had a screen, why yes, thank you for reading my mind! Food was also amazing. We cooked breakfast sandwich, Omelet and corn pancakes. Would get everything again and these maize pancakes were the hands down the best. Can't wait to come back soon!
