Lyndale Tap House - Minneapolis

Used to love Lyndale TapHouse, but the last two times were very overwhelming. During the Saturday visit our waitress was differentiated and seemed more interested in cleaning windows than excellent customer service. A man waited for the sign that said, "Please wait for a few minutes to sit" before he finally asked a bartender if he could sit outside with his group. The waitress heard about it and when the man went out, he fled behind his back and complained to hear for everyone according to the bartender. I ordered my meal without a few articles on it and it was not made as desired. Another person in my group had made food wrong. Really a bummer that one of my favorite places in Uptown has become a shell of itself

Great experience for a 15+ person group, the back area was perfect and the service was top of the line.

Tried fun new things like the cheese curds, and the salted pretzel sticks. Both came with two different yummy dipping sauces. Staff set up TV so we could watch our game on two TVs so all of us could watch.

This place is a hidden gem! The smoked brisket was amazing and my wife had a golden beet salad which was delicious for I had a bite. For a bar, their wine selection is really good. Friendly easy going atmosphere, our server was really nice. Highly recommend

I had a particularly bad experience at the Lyndale Tap, somewhere I had been and enjoyed before. My server was inattentive at best, though lost would be a better descriptor, as she didn 't seem to really know what she was doing. Beyond appetizers coming out on top of entrees, it was a fifteen minute wait culminating in having to go to the hostess stand to ask for some...and I was still charged for it. That was the final indignity.
