I organized the May Brown Skin Brunchin' for the Minneapolis Chapter JAX Cafe. From the reservation to the end my experience was pleasant. We enjoyed the ambience, the service and the food and the community of the sisterhood.
We had our dinner on the terrace. We were back in a corner, so it was quiet and private. The terrace was beautiful. A perfect evening. We both had the Filet Mignon. Perfectly cooked. We had the au gratin potatoes loaded baked potato. Easy. Many parking spaces.
An excellent and pleasant experience, through and through! We started meeting our beautiful waitress, Cyndy, who made us feel right at home. Shortly afterwards we ordered drinks and appetizers consisting of Pierogis and Shrimp cocktails were excellent and delicious (if you are in Pierogis, you will love them). After that we decided for dinner that we selected: Rainbow Trout (which we caught from the mini-flow in their outdoor dining area (super fun and unique experience). Other items we have chosen contain the crushed ribeye w/sauteed mushrooms and onions on a bed crispy hash browns, and the king cut Prime Rib. Everything we ate was absolutely spectacular, exactly prepared as we asked and was served wonderfully. Staff here are the best really enjoy what they do, make you feel at home and create an inviting experience. For dessert we had the bread pudding and chocolate cake (Bailey's Irish Cream and more) delicious and delicious. Can't say enough about Jax Cafe we will definitely be back, and are very happy, we went!
Food, service and ambiance was excellent! It's been a while since I've had food this great from any establishment!
