The taro crisps were also good. The noodle side dish was rather uninspired. The coconut dessert was delicious! Uneven is the best description.
The service and food are great. It's small though and feels more cramped than a lot of the other food halls. And it's really loud.
Funny place to hang out and eat before the game. Lots of food choices and a great vibe.
The food hall concept is fun and has a good range of cuisines and concepts, from hmong to soul food to veg bowls. We enjoyed the lemongrass grilled tofu and mac and cheese with plantains. Free flow still and sparkling water was a nice touch. That said, prices were quite marked up and you’re definitely paying for the nice venue.
I recently attended a groomsmen dinner at Graze which had a reserved section for us on the top half of their terrace. While the locale in downtown Minneapolis promises a certain ambiance, the execution left much to be desired. The layout was, quite frankly, a logistical nightmare. With only one entrance serving both our formal party and the casual diners on the other side of the terrace, there was a jarring juxtaposition. Half the terrace buzzed with diners in sports jerseys, while our side, donned in formal attire, tried to savor a special evening. We had anticipated a level of exclusivity and separation given that we reserved a space, but this expectation wasn't met.The food was decent, yet the drink service was a letdown. Multiple mix-ups in our drink orders didn't help the evening's atmosphere. And for an event where they knew the headcount and requirements well in advance, the service did not feel tailor-made or special. Instead of a VIP experience, it felt rather generic. While it wasn't my wedding, I was there for a dear friend, and I couldn't help but feel that the groomsman dinner was merely par for the course. Given the numerous venue options in Minneapolis, Graze might not be our first choice next time around. The attention to detail, organization, and overall layout needs improvement for such occasions.
