Crystal Garden - Minneapolis

I have a great experience dinner at Crystal Garden. I saw some bad reviews and I am not sure what their experience but for mine. I'm glad to stop by and get my dinner. I had Shrimp Pad Thai, Spring roll, Shrimp Fried Rice, Boat noodle. Their boat Noodle is the best so far. I definitely coming back for other dish then I have not try it yet. Vegetarian options: All menu come with Veggies option Parking: Lots of parking and is free. Only 3 minutes from Minnehaha falls. I park at the store and walk to the fall.

This restaurant has reopened and the food is so good, you should try it! We went for lunch in late July and had sesame chicken (solid flavor, my daughter loved it), pad see ew (delicious, try it if you want something a little different than pad thai, I love the wide noodles), egg rolls (just ok), shrimp larb (amazing, you HAVE to try this, or any of the other larbs, fresh, great flavor, perfectly cooked shrimp), pad thai (exactly the way my husband likes it). We took some cake to go (yummy sponge cake, not overly sweet, topped with fresh fruit) and boba smoothies (the boba were a little too squishy). We're going back for more tonight!

Crystal Garden no more Apparently they have a new owner and my first impression is that they kept the name but gutted everything else I loved about this place. They have completely ruined the once-best item: beef lo mein. I’ve been getting it for almost a decade, and it’s been changed into something dry, flavorless, and unrecognizable. The new fried rice was also bland, and the egg rolls seem to have been downgraded. Wontons were thankfully fine, but did seem maybe smaller than before. Will give the place another shot way down the road and the lo mein better be put back the way it was or this place will lose my business of 10 years. My family won’t bother either. It was THAT good before. Please return this menu back to its former glory.

Best mangos and sticky rice I’ve had outside of Thailand!!! Pad see ew is a favorite and very good. They have Khao Man Gai on the menu but unfortunately ran out of ingredients. I will be back to try it. Their Thai tea bubble tea was frozen and AMAZING! I’ve never had it that way before but I definitely want it again. I will be back time and time again. Great value for money as well! New management has done a great job. If you haven’t tried this in the past 2 months, then you don’t know what you’re missing. They opened 2 months ago and it is GREAT!

Ordered chicken wings, was suppose to get 6, only got 5. Ordered a large boat noodle, it was good, but that was the smallest large I've seen compared to anywhere else that serves pho. And the Sriracha was definitely watered down.
