I appreciated that we could make reservations in advance, and it's conveniently located just a short walk from the cinema, making it a perfect spot for a date night. However, the service was a bit slow; it took a while to get our drinks, and we had to ask for some essentials like soy sauce and paprika for the sushi. On the plus side, the staff was very friendly and helpful, from the host to the servers.
The avocado roll lived up to its name and really tasted like avocado. I also tried the cute potatoes—they were great, well-seasoned, and paired nicely with ketchup. The calamari earned a 4/5 from me. However, the outside wasn’t as crispy as I would have liked and it felt a bit soggy. It was a little too gummy, but the sauce that accompanied it made it enjoyable. As for the avocado roll, I rated it a 4/5 as well. The spices were mild, allowing the taste of the avocado to shine through. It reminded me more of guacamole with egg and chicken, and I felt it could use a bit more flavor. Nevertheless, the sauce that came with it was a wonderful complement.
Delicious food with a fantastic variety to choose from. The cocktails are outstanding—definitely give the smoked Manhattan a try!
Service was fast and all I interacted with were nice. I was in the city of minneapolis, so when I was at the west end to see a movie, I decided that I was going to lunch before the show. this location has a whole menu for plant-based aka vegetarian and vegan options, as well as a gluten-friendly menu. I really think it's like someone with a milk allergy. I was able to get the meatburger I like with a replacement of milk-free bungalow and vegan cheese. I also have the blood orange margarita and it was pretty good. the prices are not too bad, and eating tastes delicious.
Stopped by for some sushi and a cup of coffee on Friday for lunch. Place was pretty busy! Looked like 80% full but despite that the service was great, out server was quick and nice. Sushi came out after about a 10 minute wait which isn?t bad. We tried the ?#9? roll for $17 and the vegetarian ?California? roll for $11.50. Both were great! The #9 roll specifically was delicious and the salmon on top was fresh. Not usually a fan of too much salmon in my sushi because it tastes chewy but their salmon slices were fresh and very enjoyable!
