Afro Deli Grill: Minneapolis

The best mix of Mediterranean food, fresh ingredients and excellent portions, especially their staff is very friendly, Israel was top notc, which is important, I emphasize the good taste of all dishes.

I wish I could actually give a review of the food unfortunately I never had a chance to try it. Thier Website says they are open on Sunday at 10:30. On September 18th, I arrived in Washington at 10:45 to see a sign that they are open at 11. I waited the 15 minutes in the car. I'm going back to the door at 11 and not yet open. I see someone in the restaurant. When I finally got his attention, he just waved me. I waited a few minutes for him to try. I knocked on the window and he swayed me again. I don't know what the problem was, but I never come back here. I was wasting time, energy and money in the parking lot to buy your food. Never again.

The food was good. Crispy sweet potatoes (so annoying if they are not crispy how many places do). Clean and great service. However, I expected more African dishes, but most menus were things you would find at a Greek deli, so was a little disappointed.

Afro Deli has our 80. Birthday celebration of 19 guests. We ordered sambusas, coconut shrimps, chicken wings, salad, curtains, pita, hummus, tea... everything was delicious. The delivery was on time. So cheap. I love this place. Danny was so accommodating in late changes and additions!

I?ve been to Afro Deli multiple times through the years and each time it?s fresh and tastes amazing! The fries are crispy and fried right after you order. They?re also served with a very delicious sauce! I always get the gopher lamb gyro and it?s a hit every time.
