Menhir Salento - MINERVINO DI LECCE

Sembra quasi una piccola bottega dall'esterno e invece dentro oltre ad avere una bellissima location in un cortile curatissimo offre un'esperienza gastronomica di alto livello, dalla carne al pesce, ma anche gli antipasti e il vino. Tutto buonissimo e presentato con molta cura. Molto apprezzata l'idea del bicchiere di vino bianco di benvenuto (buonissimo) con del pane fatto da loro e dell'ottimo olio. Tutto il personale molto cordiale e disponibile.

Tutti piatti molto curati, in particolare costine di manzo deliziose e primi piatti eccellenti. C'è poco da dire quando è tutto cosi buono ed accompagnato da buonissimo vino locale

When looking for a place to eat in town, this restaurant seemed like the best option when doing online research. I thought the food was mediocre at best. It seemed a bit like a factory. The wines were quite good.

The most wonderful dinner possible. Each course beautifully matched with their wine. The mussels with saffron and zucchini were unlike any way I’ve ever had and I’m still trying to work out how they got the intensity and freshness of the sauce. The risotto with almonds and greens wow and the pork belly , perfection . Service was responsive to sit away from a large group) and attentive as well as informative. Our trip was designed to experience this restaurant and it was worth it.

Starters were equally tasteless mussels and prawns served cold. Main courses were tasteless tough lamb and boring battered squid. Very expensive and forced to pay for wine with each course. Amateur service.
