Wirtshaus Bavaria - Minden

Very authentic Bavarian restaurant in Minden. Nice and friendly service and delicious food selected from a long menu. They are always happy with a Paulana beer.

We have a bigger group with dinner. It was the beginning of the asparagus season (spargel), so most of us have tried various variants of asparagus (butter or sauce, pork or beef). They also have the usual Bavarian dishes such as pork haxe and sourages. Service and decoration were ok

Recommended by a colleague who lives in Minden, it was as he described. Food is excellent, presentation is immaculate, and serving a large. Add the Paulan beer and you have a guarantee.

Casual dining atmosphere. Large menu and VERY LARGE portions. Really, really good sauerkraut so don't miss out on that trying to finish your main entrée. Schweinshaxe on the menu but sold out early. Casual but friendly service. Ask for a serving of the digestive with the jackalope on the label to end your meal.

Great food, large menu, excellent service, reasonably priced. The menu is written in English too, but be warned, the portions are pretty big!
