Sougo - Minato-ku

It was an excellent experience. One of the best tasting menus we tried.

This cozy, romantic place will blow them away as soon as you eat on the table. think about how much fine eating is based on large tickets meat and fish products; now they're taking them all away. How will the chef deliver a five star gift experience? chef nomura not only delivers it inspired. my wife and I have left a deep appreciation for the shojin Ryori cuisine and look forward to finding away, integrating more vegetarian meals at home. we cannot recommend this gem of a restaurant enough.

The service is excellent. I don’t speak Japanese and the chef made sure that he described everything that was being served and was very attentive. The food is excellent. I had the vegan tasting menu that had a variety of dishes and flavors. The ambiance felt upscale and relaxing at the same time. It felt like a great escape from a workday.

The food was amazing. The cook personally explains every course since my partner and I didn't speak Japanese.

Whether they are vegetarian or not, sougo is definitely worth a try. from the first cursor to the last, I felt as if I had entered an edible and delicious forest – especially when I was serving this a suppe with iron and possibly tofu, on which a small sheet was placed above called “Snow falling on tree” (and it really looked like a small tree surrounded by snow. I loved to be surprised by the unique and surprising possibilities that sweet simple but tasty could be prepared.
