The Farmer's Wife - Milwaukee

Our VA group had a great time and we loved the chicken pot pies the vanille pudding was excellent. our server was helpful and very friendly. we will be back, of course.

Eat was good, but wait was near an hour. very loud, but not so busy! we would go back and try again because we loved the eclectic menu

My mom and I decided to try this place for dinner. she ordered the chicken potcake. She said that there was so much wise in that the court was completely overwhelmed and that's all she could taste. I have the crabcakes. they were very tasty (but small for a deserving), but the red beans and rice that came as a side were terrible. at first it was hardly warm and a part of the rice was crispy. it almost had no taste. when the waiter made our teller clear, he did not even realize the full part that remained on my teller. Why didn't he ask if something was wrong with my eating?! So in the round I paid $20 for 2 very small crabcakes. very disappointing. I'm not going back.

Second visit was just as great as the first. Everyone in our party was impressed with the flavor, presentation, quality, ambiance, and service. Will definitely be back!

Overall the place was nice and cozy. The food was good but they were out of a few things that we asked about.
