Supper - Milwaukee

Despite an open table confirmation for my reservation only one day before our planned dinner, we closed the day of this evening meal. Unfortunately, we found out, but no other notification was received.

Well, it seems that the supper has closed. We showed up for our reservation and the restaurant is permanently closed. Sad, we were very excited about it and drove all the way to downtown to try it.

Maybe it was understated, but it was worth waiting. Cocktails were fantastic. Make sure to ask what they know about the history of the building and the restaurant room. (Hint: Milwaukee Mobs)

Supper was ok. First, there is very very little parking and on a Friday night expect to park five blocks away. Second, the food was very good, but took quite awhile to get bar drinks.

We've been to Supper multiple times and always come away feeling like we had a great meal served by friendly staff. This place doesn't get the recognition it deserves, not sure why but if you haven't tried it out yet, you should. We went on a Thursday evening, as we were leaving the owner who was sitting at the bar came to the door to thank us for coming in. We spoke for about 5-minutes, had a great chat, very nice touch on her part. The food, service and ambiance will keep bringing us back!
