Mo's Irish Pub - Milwaukee

I was in town for a concert at the Riverside Theater so the proximity of Mo's was attractive to me. I stopped in on a Sunday for a bite for lunch.  The bar reminded me of a college bar, semi-clean with the smell of stale beer.  There was a small crowd for the NFL games and I had to wait for a seat at the bar.  Once I got a space to sit, I sat there for 15 minutes before a bartender (there were 3 of them) finally acknowledged me and took a drink order and dropped a menu on me. I ordered a Guinness and a chicken tenders app.   The Guinness was quick poured and it took 20 minutes to get my app.  The bartenders were too busy playing grab ass and chit chatting with other employees to serve me properly.  When my app arrived I had to ask for silverware.  The chicken tenders were great but not worth the $10 it cost.  I was pretty much ignored the entire time I was there ... Again I had to wait, for a check ... I paid and left ... no thank-you on my way out. I won't come back.   My suggestion ... go elsewhere if you have a choice. AMBIANCE:  D+ FOOD:  C SERVICE:  F

Great Bar, So-So Food. I came here during a sports trip and loved the beer, the atmosphere, the service. The food was so, so. I found myself coming back time and time again as it was that much fun meeting some of the locals and the out of towers.

Nice beer selection, cool atmosphere, and some amazing (and unhealthy) appetizers make this place a pretty great stop on a night out in Milwaukee.
