La Michoacana Plus- 13th St - Milwaukee

La Michoacana Plus on 13th deserves more recognition. The other location on Cesar Chavez had to close during Covid and the owner has had difficulty getting workers ever since. However, he makes his ice cream in the Cesar Chavez location and offers it in the 13th street location. People in Wisconsin may not know that Michoacan is Mexico 's Dairy State just as Wisconsin is the Dairy State in the U.S. And what we surely don 't know are all the unique flavors that are known to Mexicans. The milk used is from Wisconsin, but the recipes are all from Mexico. This is the best ice cream in Milwaukee and locals need to discover both the ice cream and the various confections that are also sold. We have been taking our grandkids for over a decade and it 's still their favorite ice cream in Milwaukee.

Bad service, the only thing they end up doing is scamming you. I ordered a queso and nuez ice cream large and received a small as well as a two drinks one large lemonade and it came in a medium and one medium strawberry drink and it came In a SMALL! They only charge you extra for something that isn't good hat you ordered and I spent 30.67 cents for three things. But overall it taste amazing but would really consider lowering prices only a little bit .

Loved the fresh pecan yogurt with strawberries, horchata, Mexican Street corn, chicharrones, and ice cream!!!

At a party we tried their fresa con crema and granola (delicious by the way). My husband went in to order the drink we tried at the party; ask for vanilla. He seen that the ice cream was yellow and asked her to change it. She refused. For 38.00 for 2 drinks you would think she would have made it right. Anyhow, we will never go there again. I'll go to Culver's or Leon's and get the same thing. Unbelievably expensive.

Great place for when you get the munchies they have a great selection, on the pricey side tbh but to some it's worth it, i really like their nieve/ice cream mango con chile great flavor and good quantity too their paletas are awesome too.
