Egg And Flour Pasta - Milwaukee

Parking: There’s paid street parking available, but I had to drive around the blocks a couple of times through a tricky intersection to find a spot about 1.5 blocks away. The side streets had free parking (I believe), but many areas allowed parking were already full.

Wonderful Pasta some of the very best Milwaukee has to offer. Service was slow though as we were a party of two and there was no other patrons in the restaurant who didn’t already have their food and there were several staff members on shift.

Tonight, my girlfriend and I decided to visit Egg and Flour once more, and we were warmly greeted by Jim. He provided us with excellent service, even giving us a pasta punch card, and his noodles are fantastic. The Mushroom Papardelle was absolutely delicious!

I arrived at the restaurant at 7 PM (they close at 8 PM), only to be informed that they had enough orders to last for the next 30 minutes and were no longer taking any more orders. If that's the case, they should consider hiring more staff, preparing more food, or at least updating their hours across all platforms. Any of these solutions would help avoid turning away customers who arrive expecting service. I can't recommend this restaurant because if they can’t adhere to their posted hours, what’s the point of having them at all?

Absolutely loved the Adam pappardelle and the carbonara that my girlfriend ordered. Easily some of the best pasta I've had anywhere.
