Durbar Restaurant and Lounge

Worst experience and food ever! For the cost of two drinks and meals outrageous!! Not to mention the service. Cannot recommend this restaurant and certainly will never go back. Would not even give one star but had to.

We made our first visit to this relatively new restaurant this week. What a great find. The decor is a nice bump up from the more functional interiors at the other Indian restaurants. The waitress was very attentive in a nice white waiters jacket. The menu was comprehensive without being overwhelming. The wines to complement were adequate, but could use a little adjustment. Good selection of Indian beers. I had the chicken with chili that was outstanding (very spicy). The palak paneer was a good consistency. The naan was good but I prefer the freshly made to order at some of the other Indian restaurants. Overall a great time and I would highly recommend it.

My husband and I and another couple recently dined at Durbar on a snowy Friday night. We had a fabulous meal, from appetizers to naan and raita. Every single dish we shared (two appetizers and four entrees) was wonderful. We hope more people will come to the restaurant which had virtually no one there, but the weather might have made many stay away. I can't wait to go back!

Please is very interesting! server was shy...drinks are worthless! food is spectacular jus order beer or wine NO COCKTAILS...Fun place jus gotta chill!

My wife and I went here for the first time. Excellent food very flavorful and good ambiance and nice decor. Better than the other Indian restaurants in Milwaukee. Price was reasonable as well. Will definitely go back and recommend to our friends.
