Dead Bird Brewing - Milwaukee

What an amazing place. The food 10/10 The beer 10/10 The brewery 10/10 Everyone needs to come to Dead Bird!

Entirely vegan restaurant. They brew their own beer and make their own soda. The nachos and non alcoholic ginger soda are amazing! Added bonus is the environmentally friendly beautiful patio area.

I visited on a beautiful Saturday summer evening and it wasn’t busy at all, so I easily got a spot in the parking lot. The staff was friendly and the food came out fast. I ordered the Sexy Chips which were savory and spicy and heavenly. The July pizza special, Nashville Hot Chicky, was delicious. I’m not a beer person so I ordered the Kingston Mule which I wouldn’t have described as a mule, but I loved its refreshing fruitiness and ended up ordering a second. This was my first stop in town (visiting from Minneapolis), and it was the perfect way to kick off my weekend in Milwaukee.

We got the BBQ pizza and nachos. Both were good, they seem like they focus more on the beer than the food but it's a fun atmosphere with arcade games and board games.

In town for a conference, and this showed up as one of the only all vegan spots near downtown Milwaukee. Got the SHMO pizza and the Winter Cranberry Soda both were outstanding! Crust was just crispy enough, the sauce was rich, flavorful, and a just a little spicy. The cheese they used was just enough, and the sausage had both a great texture and even better flavor. Absolutely going to come back the next time I'm in Milwaukee.
