Chucho's Red Tacos - Milwaukee

I discovered this restaurant right across from the Sleep Inn Hotel, and I'm so glad I did. The staff greeted me warmly, and the outdoor dining area was lovely with a relaxed atmosphere. The tacos were excellent, and my friend ordered the chicken burrito, which he thoroughly enjoyed. There's also a bar on the premises. I will definitely return the next time I'm in Milwaukee!

The food was excellent, but the service left much to be desired. The staff was friendly, but we waited 35 minutes for our meal. We were informed that they had a large order from the previous night, which caused the delay in our food. The birria noodles weren't as impressive as everyone had raved about. However, the quesadillas were a hit, along with the crunchy and cheesy tacos. We tried dishes that included steak, beef, and chicken. I’ll give it another shot this spring or summer to see if the summer hype lives up to expectations! Thanks, everyone!

I’ve had the pleasure of trying their quesadilla, tacos, and ramen, and I can confidently say that they are all absolutely delicious! This is definitely a fantastic place to dine. The margaritas are quite strong too, which is a nice bonus! I highly recommend checking it out! My only critique is that the service wasn’t as friendly as I had hoped, but it wasn’t bad by any means. I always appreciate a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

I was the only customer there, but the food arrived quickly. It was tasty. I prefer a bit more seasoning, but overall, it was good.

We also ordered drinks: I had a classic frozen lime margarita, and my wife tried a frozen mango margarita that had some sweet hot sauce mixed in and Tajin on the rim. It quickly became one of her favorite drinks—unique and delicious! My only complaint is that the rice and beans were just average. Overall, we can’t wait to add this place to our regular DoorDash orders!
