The Little Bookshop - Milton Keynes

The bookshop may have closed long ago, but joy and excitement still remain... The Little Bookshop has made a comeback! Come in for a poetry group or brush up on your computer skills; bring your children to a special children's library; meet up with friends for coffee and dessert, or grab a meal from the upcoming Community Fridge.

So I was in Milton Keynes today (12th July 2016) and thought I 'd stop by The Little Bookshop for a coffee, some cake and to find an old book to buy. Sadly I arrived only to find that they are now only open on Friday 's from 10am to 4pm. I am posting this review as 'Very Good ' as these guys deserve support as their work is all for the greater good, and also to help fellow Trip Advisor Community Members who may be thinking of visiting this coffee cum bookshop on any day other than a Friday! I do hope to return on a Friday soon.

A great place for a good cup of tea and a unique book always feels like a treat when occasionally it is open late and I can take my daughter there after school. Run by volunteers be sure to check the opening times on their Facebook Page before visiting. I recommend it for the friendly staff, patrons and quality of books on offer. We use this venue on a regular basis the staff are warm and welcoming and although the choices aren't vast but of excellent quality. This is a real community spot and I always feel better after a visit. I would reccomend this venue to all local people
