The Cock Inn - Milton Keynes

We've tried dinner and Sunday lunch here now and cannot fault anything. Great atmosphere, friendly people and excellent service. The food is outstanding high quality ingredients, cooked to perfection and great value for money. The portion sizes are well judged you can eat...three courses without that awful over-stuffed feeling afterwards. It also makes a very pleasant change to find somewhere that puts some thought into creating dishes for people who don't eat meat instead of perpetually offering mushroom risotto. Very highly recommended.

Reasonably priced delicious food. The lamb shoulder was melt in the mouth gorgeous. Excellent attentive service from Hannah and Andy. Recommend a visit in this village pub with a relaxed atmosphere.

Hubbie and I were a bit covid wary, but we emailed in advance and Hannah replied reassuringly, greeted us on arrival and directed us to a quiet table. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. I opted for the sea bass fillets, which were so piping hot and succulent,...with really tasty crushed potatoes and a fresh pesto/salsa verde dressing. Hubbie opted for the linguine, with really top quality artichoke hearts and generous portions. Hubbie also really enjoyed the cinammon and honey steamed pud on a freezing january night. We look forward to returning for more date nights xx

Really enjoyed the mozerella and tomato starter, and the day aged steak was excellent. The Greene King IPA was highly drinkable.
