The meat fish they use is frozen and not fresh at all, and the seasoning was stinking. The service standards very low and felt awkward at arrival as there was nobody in the restaurant when we entered. We ordered to eat in but after 45 minutes of wait the owner came by and asked us to to take the food to go as he had an emergency and had to close down. Not a good experience at all. Wouldn't recommend.
Nice tranquil atmosphere, with engaging staff. Highly recommended to get your taste buds in order. Second time I've been, but will definitely be back again.
We ordered mixed meat pepper soup. Its generous enough to share between 2 people, otherwise as a starter it could be considered it a little expensive for £10. Again for the main, we shared a fish ogbono with pounded yam which was absolutely delicious. Service is very friendly and accommodating. We got a takeaway jollof rice and suya. Jollof rice was great. Suya was ok. Didn't taste as authentic as I'd have liked, and didn't have the garnish of fresh onions and tomatoes. All in all a satisfactory experience. Good food if a little pricey. Its nice for an occasional family meal out.
Great food we ordered two different types of soups, tasted lovely and Manager was very friendly and made us very welcome. If you're looking for good value Nigerian food this is the place to go. We ordered a takeaway. Will definitely visit again if and when in the area.
