Pizzaexpress - Milton Keynes

Pizza express is delicious! They sell a wide variety of pizzas, but also pastas and salads. The pizzas come on a standard base or a romana base, which I love. You can also add your own toppings, for a price. Everything is priced reasonably and it is perfectly situated for a quick lunch after a long morning shopping. It can get busy during the evenings and the waiting times do get very long so I would recommend going at lunch time or early evening. Try the sicillian lemonade it is lovely and the bruschetta, it is to die for!

Before I visited Pizza Express I was expecting a fast food place similar to KFC, only for pizza. I was pleasantly surprised as it turns out it does very nice food. The tables are nicely laid out with good tableware, candles and a fresh flower in a small vase. There was enough on the menu for vegetarians to have a good choice. I ordered the padana, yummy. We had a party of 11 people and we were served by a very nice waitress who did not treat us as though it was a hassle which has happened before when eating out in a large group. We had two young children with us and the waitress took time to communicate with them. The older child was given crayons and pad to do some colouring in. The meals are avarage price for this type of place but made better by the fact that we had some 2 for 1 tokens. Nice evening out.

I'm allergic to EVERYTHING and they coped well. They have gluten free bases for pizza there, plus allowed me to bring grated dairy free cheese and used garlic oil instead of tomato puree..... Honestly allergic to too much. Food was great, we had a party of 8, 4 kids, 4 adults, we had starters to share and desserts too, plus drinks and it all came to £106.00 The area is clean, has a baby change and seems quite accessible. It is at the side of the square by John Lewis

My wife and I really like Pizza Express. They serve these garlic bread balls as a starter that are wonderful. The pizza is thin, slightly crispy, and well covered with toppings. The salads are nice as well.
