He was well informed and assured me that they had separate items in the kitchen. Separate frits and can expect the risk of CC for most things on the menu walnuts and garlic. He advised to ask when you come, so you can be well informed. I would come back and I felt safe and respected in my allergies and tolerances.
We made the best of it - we were overloaded - we got the vegan Coleslaw and it was full of chili pieces - the hottest thing I've ever tasted - wasting £3 there. I got a big nachos £11.50) to eat as I couldn't see any meal that the £15-16 she charged for her and the Jalapenos picked, got tiny amounts of acid cream, guacamole and salsa- it was at least covered in cheese. The mocktails were terrible - we got passion fruit and they were just water with a bit of stuff in it, the worst ever lubricated attempts Go back on another day and take a really good menu before going.
I had the vegan Veggie Burrito and the sticky toffee pudding. The Burrito was super aromatic and came with guacamole and oat Crème fraîche. The sticky toffee pudding had a beautiful coconut ice cream.
Clearly marked separate menu for vegans and vegetarians. The food is delicious! The only drawback is that the dessert options are really limited.
When I heard that this place has vegan options, I did not expect too much my experience with Latin American restaurants in my own country is not so big when it comes to vegan food. But I was wrong. Not only that they have a separate vegetarian and vegan menu, the food is simply great and I regret only that I could not try ALL their vegan options. My favorites were the vegan version of their Three Mushroom Fajita and the Tembleque coconut pudding. Yes, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Las Iguanas became my favorite restaurant during my stay in Milton Keynes.
