Grounds Cafe Emberton - Milton Keynes

Unfortunately, this restaurant has closed down, as the contract with Grounds has ended and a new company, Emberton Park Cafe, has taken over. It remains to be seen if they can maintain the high standards set by Grounds, who were open almost every day of the year. Prices have reportedly increased significantly, which may be risky in the current climate. Best of luck to the new owners in their new venture.

During our visit to the Country Park, we decided to have lunch. Fortunately, there wasn't a long line. The three of us ordered 2 soups, 2 toasties, and a panini. They heated up the toasties and the panini, and I also had a bottle of Fanta. The total came to £25, which was a bit expensive, but it's typical for a place where customers are a captive audience. The food was quite tasty. In addition to lunch items, they were also selling a lot of ice creams.

I discovered this café while walking around Emberton Lake. It was a great find, as it had the best Flat White I've had in a while. I would definitely recommend it.

I visited the park with a friend and we had lunch at the cafe. I had to ask the staff a few questions while they were busy serving and they were very helpful and courteous. The ice cream cones dipped in chocolate on the top are gorgeous I would highly recommend them. The chocolate is very thick and scrumptious. I had a tuna panini which was tasty and very filling.

Visited the park with the family a couple of weeks ago. I was a little hesitant upon arrival seeing just how busy the carpark was in light of the current pandemic however the day as a whole was really lovely. It was so nice to see the cafe operating despite the restrictions. Yes, it was busy and the line was long but we didn't at all mind waiting as the staff were so lovely and the food etc was fantastic! We ordered cakes, hot drinks, crisps and toasties which really hit the spot. The young lady who served us even directed us to these children's lunch bags which were perfect for the grandkids as they come with crayons and activities to keep them entertained! Would happily revisit.
