Longhorn Barbecue - Milton

This was by far the worst barbecue I have ever had other than it somebody's private barbecue. The brisket seemed to be from days ago and the chicken was way the hell overcooked. They realistically should try another job, because they truly suck at barbecue

Atmosphere is good (about what you’d expect). Food was very good. We had the ham and ribs Maverick plate. Jo Jo’s and Mac salad sides were yummy too. The plate came with cornbread which was also really good.

I was on my way to Hops and Drops not knowing it was still under construction and went to Longhorn Barbecue instead. I'm so glad I did! I had the brisket sandwich and a side of potato salad. The brisket was done to perfection with just enough fat to make it juicy but not so much as to gross you out. I had the chipotle sauce and it was perfect. Not too spicy but definitely flavorful. The potato salad came in a large container like you get from the deli and it was full of really good potato salad. I even ordered another sandwich to go so I could have it for dinner. Yum! This place is 1/2 hour out of my way but I'll gladly go back.

I recently dined at Longhorn Barbecue and had a rather disappointing experience. The ribs were just okay, the pulled pork was dry, and the mac cheese tasted like it came from a Kraft box. While the service from our waitress was excellent, the atmosphere was soured when the manager told her he was cutting her hours right in front of customers. I do not recommend this place.

Disgusting food. Fatty brisket, dry chicken , sour barbecue sauce. Extremely overpriced.
