Mr. Dumpling - Milton

Very good variety, fresh food, good value and excellent service! Our favourite Chinese restaurant. We will be back for sure.

We ordered food for takeout earlier so we can feed the kids and in-laws while we picked up a few things. Got home to eat and found a piece of plastic in the Lo Mein. Disgusted and fed up.

Quite dreadful. Tasteless food. Orded chicken ricw dish. It was covered in a reddish goo ... could quite figure out what it was. Avoid it, rubbish. The “is the good for” ... not good for anything

We used to love Mr. Dumpling. It was our only destination for Chinese food. We ordered takeout tonight and were very disappointed. It started when we unpacked our bag. We looked at the sweet and sour sauce and said it looked different runnier than normal and the color was not as vibrant... perhaps the color difference is not a bad thing. Anyway. We dug in and discovered that the beef in the beef and mixed vegetable was chewy and stringy. The sauce tasted different too. Next, the chicken balls the batter is different from the last time we ate there. Now it's doughier and the chicken meat was not as tender, there was even a little piece of gristle in one of them. That has never happened before at Mr. Dumpling. The beef fried rice was close but still not the same. The rice seemed, somehow, fluffier but not in a good way. Overall, the meal would have been fine if it was our first time there, but because we got used to it one way this new way is not good. It may be awhile before we go back.

Compared to other Chinese takouts in MIlton this place is average. The food is a bit dry and very few veggies with their noodles. The service is fairly quick but the staff is a bit difficult to understand. Prices are comparable to others in the area but for what you get I would rather go elsewhere.
