First, this restaurant has reopened, and the atmosphere is nice. However, the air conditioning was too cold, causing the food to cool down quickly after being served. Unfortunately, the taste wasn't very good. The beef chow fun ($23 with an extra charge) was particularly disappointing and felt like fast food quality.

There are several HL Half Island restaurants around the Bay Area, including one at McCarthy Ranch in Milpitas. First, I have to say this is the largest Cantonese restaurant I've ever seen in the area; I bet the main hall could easily accommodate at least 100 tables. Second, when I walk into the restaurant, it feels like I've been transported back to China. However, the food quality is somewhat lacking. Finally, while the restaurant is spacious and offers a wide variety of dishes, it seems they could use some improvement in their service. It often takes a while for the waitstaff to be attentive and bring items like napkins and refill drinks. The price is approximately $30 per person, and it's generally recommended to order about three dim sum dishes each.

"I don't even know where to begin with this place. When you arrive, it feels like stepping into a grand palace, with plenty of space between tables. The restaurant offers an impressive selection of food, and I appreciated that they have a pre-prepared menu for larger groups. They also add an automatic gratuity of 18% for big parties, which is good to be aware of. The food came out incredibly quickly, almost as if it was prepared the moment we ordered it, and everything was delicious. However, we did run into an issue when we requested a bowl of rice. It took an unusually long time to receive it, and despite asking at least five or six different waiters and even the manager, we waited forever for just one bowl. I thought that would be a straightforward request, but it turned into quite a wait."

Came the second time with my friends and disappointed with the quality of the food. no chili oil for a dim sum restaurant, really? baked rice is salty and dried. by midday, but some of the dishes are not already present. I'm sorry to say, but all six of us didn't want to be back! give them 1 star for the service and 1 star for the high deck open it area.
