Sawmill Grill - Millinocket

The humble exterior is the pleasant and rustic interior that was tasted clean and in an eclectic but tasteful sawmill theme. The food was excellent and service was prompt. We ordered the Big Wreck and the White Lady Sandwiches. Both were rich portions, tasteful and perfectly prepared. The service was excellent, fast and our waitress was very pleasant and cheerful. The prices were good and typical of similar places in the area.

In any case, my many visits have enjoyed here. The food is great and the beer is cold. The most pleasant part of each visit, however, is the friendly, polite staff that bends backwards to please the customer. Thanks for everything you do!!!

Step into another time in America. People smile and say hello, males and employees. Lumber Industrie Artefacts and photos from the old (read better) days. Great staff, great food, great ambience and great prices for delicious food.

We stopped here on our way back from Baxter State Park. The service was friendly and quick. The food was delicious and well- priced. We will definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who asks, and those who don't!! My steak quesadilla was so large, I couldn't eat it all and the potato skins were just as we like them, fried first and loaded w cheese and bacon. They were also huge!!! Tim had the wings which were moist and a good size. They also had fresh brewed unsweetened ice tea which was a plus!
