Plain Simple Diner - Millersburg

I had a fantastic dining experience! I ordered two over-easy eggs along with sausage links and bacon, and everything was delicious. The service was excellent as well. Our waitress, Lori, made sure everyone was satisfied and in good spirits.

We were uncertain about where to find good food in Berlin, but I'm really glad we decided to try Plain and Simple. We ordered the wings and fries, and both the Kickin' Bourbon and Carolina Gold options were fantastic.

We were quickly seated for a late lunch. Our server greeted us and took our drink orders, then asked if we were ready to order food as well. Our meals arrived promptly given what we ordered. My daughter said it was the best chicken she had ever tasted. My salad, which was just a side dish, was fresh, crisp, and delicious, accompanied by my chicken wrap. The service was excellent. However, I was taken aback to overhear a few employees, who were Amish or Mennonite, discussing politics and making comments like "bring on a civil war." It was not the kind of conversation I expected to hear in an ice cream shop/café, especially in Amish country, where I thought the perspectives on government might be quite different.

We love going here for our Saturday breakfasts. Love that they are open early. Amazing friendly staff awesome inexpensive breakfast. Love the grilled sausage to go with my usual baked oatmeal yogurt.

Our favorite food spot during our whole 8 day vacation in Berlin!! We wish we would've discovered it sooner! The food was delicious, graciously proportioned and the service was great ? The meal was so large we had to take our pie home ? (chocolate peanut butter pie ? We can't wait to dine in again on next year's vacation! ???
