Falls Teahouse - MILLAA MILLAA

My husband and I called in for a scone and a cuppa two days ago as we were day-tripping around the Tablelands. The scones were delicious with jam and cream, but the service was less than friendly, in fact we felt like we were in the middle of a domestic dispute. I called out thank-you as we left and was totally ignored.

We were driving past in our caravan and pulled up out the front of the tea house, and so glad we did. We had lovely coffees with a delicious gf pecan slice and freshly made scones. Unfortunately the scones had been microwaved a little too long, such a shame because we know they were very fresh, served with homemade jam and cream. Beautiful views of the green, hilly country side. Free wifi. Very friendly, efficient staff. We noted some other diners really enjoyed the homemade pies.

This is a lovely location right on a ridge outside Millaa Millaa and the views are fabulous. The service here was great, the coffee was excellent but the Tablelander sandwiches left a lot to be desired. The bread was fine, the chutney delicious but the slab of corned beef had a bubber edge which was indigestible. Having said all that other meals served around the place looked great and the wedges were superb.

We stopped here for lunch on the drive home and we were very pleased with our choice. Tablelands sandwich combined with pumpkin soup was a tasty lunch & really hit the spot. Food was fresh and of good quality. Charming and quaint country atmosphere was very nice and we felt welcome and valued as customers. I'd visit again. The service was good however we saw other tables having some issues which created a hectic vibe at times over lunch. Our own experience was good though. The young staff helping out and family business feel really made us feel welcome. Nice experience overall. Will stop again when in the area. Recommended.

We went here for lunch after a bit of Tablelands touring around. Homemade, delicious and generous servings at very reasonable prices. We were very impressed.
