I was first going to order their Sicilian pizza but at the tune of $65 I declined and could not believe that any place would that much for a 16x16 pizza! So I asked for a 14 pizza and that cost me $35 with a paper thin crust! A card board box is thicker than this crust! Pizza was barely mediocre, won't be going back there again. Should have ordered from White Buffalo in Everett, it by far out ranks ANY pizza joint in town!
I really used to like this pizza place. Unfortunately it has gone downhill over the last few months. The pizza is flavorless and soggy. Please don't ever order the calzone. 1 it's not authentic at all and 2 it is undercooked and doughy. The atmosphere was okay as always but truly miss the energetic funny manager that used to be here. Just kids now behind the counter ho hum about their job and just interested in the ballgame on TV or talking to one another. All in all this is the 2nd time I've come to eat here with the same experience and I will NOT be back. What a shame...could be great, they just need to put more effort into it especially not for the extraordinary price you pay.
Good tasting pizza. You definitely can taste the freshness of it. Love how they sell by the slice as well.Food: 4/5
Just popped in to get a couple of slices to go, but they were hot and delicious, perfectly done. I haven't had a pizza pie in New York itself, but I can't imagine it being better done than here if you want thin and crispy but still soft and chewy. They also do a fantastic Detroit style. I will be back over and over.Food: 5/5
Really solid spot. I'm comparing these guys to the best I've had in NYC, which is tough company. The breadsticks are instantly a favorite, with or without cheese. Ranch and sauce were both good.We got the Bowery, which was decent. Good quality but you better like Garlic!
